The Northampton Marketing Honours Degree exposes the student to the modern marketing tools and techniques that will give an edge in securing a job as well in its performance. The learning helps you to contribute effectively to making of a marketing advantage irrespective of the nature of the business you are engaged in. The course covers operational as well as strategic aspects of marketing and provides insights into digital marketing, marketing communications and global marketing. In addition students learn about other corporate roles to develop cross functional appreciation.


We are ready to help you with an internship training opportunity no sooner you are ready to work. Prior to completion of your Degree, you should be looking at doing at least a 6-month internship which will enable you to start your career as an HR Executive.

Our full-time students are required to spend 3 months seeking insights into 'how corporates work' in order to relate learning to a wide variety of organizations in different sectors and functions. This exposure in engaging with experienced managers, seeking an understanding of how different organizations function in different contexts, how strategies are translated into actions, and listening to corporate leaders will afford our young undergraduate students opportunities they will cherish for a long time.

In order to ensure that our students will possess a competitive advantage in the employment arena, our students will attend several workshops on Leadership Challenge, Strategy, and Innovation which will be enriched by corporate leaders. This exposure will strengthen their learning and facilitate networking opportunities.

Programme Structure:

Whilst the entire Degree programme will take 36 months for Part-time and 30 months for Full-time, students are required to successfully complete 15 modules during the first 2 years. On completion of this segment, students will be awarded Pearson Assured International Diploma and thereafter progress to the Final Year for the award of the Bachelor’s Degree  from University of Northampton.

- GCE (A/L) 2 passes - any Stream with English and Mathematics at O/L OR

- GCE (O/L) with a Degree Foundation Course OR

- Certificate in HRM / Business Management from HRMI / IPM / NIBM OR equivalent OR

- GCE (O/L) with English & Mathematics and 2 years work experience

    Month 19 to 30- Sunday from 8.45 am to 4.30pm 

    (Duration 30 Months)

2. PART TIME BATCH: English Medium : Sundays from 8.45 am to 4.30pm

    (Duration 36 Months)


3. PART TIME BATCH: Sinhala + English (Mixed) Medium :

    from Month 1 to 12 : Saturday from 8.45am to  4.30pm and

    Month 13 to 36 Sundays from 8.45 am to  4.30pm - English medium 

    (Duration 36 Months)
