Pearson BTEC Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (60 Credits)

Globally recognized Post Graduate qualification for Business Managers

BTEC Level 7 qualifications are classified at ‘Post Graduate / Masters Level’ in the Qualification & Credit Framework (QCF) in UK. Accordingly the Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership provides 60 credits towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is a professional work-related qualification aimed at providing the competencies required at senior management level.

Module of Study: Students are required to study all Core modules (45 Credits) and balance 20 credits must be chosen from elective modules.

 

Core Modules

Strategic Planning (15 Credits)  

This unit provides a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of strategy, what drives strategy and why a company need to use ‘differentiation’ as the fundamental strategy. The learner will understand the process of developing a strategic plan together with relevant tools and techniques. The connectivity between innovation and strategy is illustrated with many case studies.

Professional Development for Strategic Managers: ( 5 Credits)  Facilitates the learner to develop competencies required to function effectively at Senior Management level in establishing strategic direction and a culture of innovation.

Developing Strategic Management and Leadership Skills:  (10 Credits) Provides insights into the critical linkage between strategic management, leadership and the role of leadership in creating strategic direction and alignment.

Strategic Change Management:  (10 Credits)  Enables learners to develop the skills of leading and effecting ‘change’ in order to achieve strategic redirection and innovation.

 

Elective Modules

Creative and Innovating Management:  (10 Credits)   Focuses on the significance of creating a company wide innovation culture and what a company needs to do to establish an innovation pipeline to achieve a sustainable competitive edge. 

Strategic Marketing Management: (10 Credits)   Provides the connectivity between corporate strategy and strategic marketing. Enables learners to realize how innovation could be the primary driver of marketing success.

Strategic Human Resource Management: (10 Credits)  Enables the learner to understand how strategic human resource management supports employee engagement, learning and innovation in the process of achieving corporate goals.

Managing Financial Principles and Techniques:  (15 Credits)  Provides learners the skills to apply financial principles relevant to strategic management in an organisational context, including forecasting, capital appraisal, budgeting, financial appraisal and analysis.

 

Progression Pathway: On completion of the Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

To obtain the ‘Master of Business Administration’ (MBA) degree from University of Northampton, UK, students are only required to complete 60 more credits at coursework stage and the Dissertation.

Saturday Batch : Every Saturday from 8.45 am to 1.30pm  |  COMMENCEMENT: 3rd November

Sunday Batch : 2 Sundays per month from 8.45 am to 4.30pm  |  COMMENCEMENT: 18th November

One Weekend Per Month: Saturday & Sunday from 8.45 am to 4.30 pm  |  COMMENCEMENT:  Sunday, 18th November   

 

 Course Fees:

Registration Fee: Rs.12,500 + E library Charges: Rs. 5,000

Pearson BTEC Registration Fee: Rs. 60,000 ( to be paid after one month of commencement)

Course Fee: Rs. 20,000 x 6 installments / Monthly basis

Students have the option of selecting the Pearson Assured pathway instead Pearson BTEC Pathway. Cost of Person Assured Registration is Rs. 20,000 instead Pearson BTEC Registration 60,000 (you will save Rs. 40,000)
