UNISTEM MID-CAREER FELLOWSHIPS
UNISTEM Mid-Career Fellowships are crafted to empower young executives and mid-level managers with the skills and qualifications needed to advance into senior management roles.
The program aims to:
– Equip participants with globally recognized qualifications and competencies.
– Support professional growth, career advancement, and seamless career transitions.
– Build expertise in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Sustainable Practices.
– Cultivate strategic thinking, innovation, and leadership capabilities.
– Enhance strategic leadership and decision-making skills for navigating in uncertain and dynamic environments
Programme Structure
There will be 3 components of learning:
1. Coursework Stage of the MBA: 6 modules, upon completion will be awarded Pearson Assured Executive Diploma in Strategy and Innovation Management (Level 7 Postgraduate Qualification).
2. Research Stage of the MBA: 3 modules, upon completion will be awarded the MBA from the University of Northampton UK.
3. Competency Certifications:
– Mastering AI tools: To accelerate digital transformation and boost productivity.
– Strategic Thinking: To foster innovation and drive business reconfiguration.
– Strategic Leadership: To effectively navigate and manage in turbulent times.
Course Content
Learning Content: Coursework Stage of the MBA (120 credits)
1. Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Empowers managers to champion an innovation-driven culture within the organization, guiding teams to build systems and pipelines that drive sustainable competitive advantage in today’s dynamic business landscape.
2. Strategic Leadership and Management: Focuses on the manager’s role in shaping and executing strategies that ensure organizational adaptability, competitiveness, and long-term growth in a rapidly evolving environment.
3. Innovation and Strategic Change Management: Prepares managers to lead transformative initiatives, fostering innovation and ensuring seamless transitions that align with strategic business objectives.
4. Strategic Marketing and Innovation: Equips managers with the tools to bridge corporate strategy and marketing efforts, ensuring product and service positioning aligns with organizational goals and market demands.
5. Strategic Supply Chain Management and Logistics: Delivers insights into how managers can optimize supply chain and logistics operations to enhance performance, drive innovation, and secure a strategic edge in global markets.
6. Research Methods: Guides managers in identifying and exploring pressing business challenges, enabling data-driven decision-making and contributing to professional growth and organizational success.
Learning Content: Research Stage of the MBA (60 credits)
1. Major Project: The students will engage in an original research project associated with topics and themes from the MBA programme. It’s an opportunity for learners to identify, select and analyse secondary data in innovative ways for applied research in business and management contexts.
2. Strategy and Decision Making
Learners will analyse how the dynamic internal and external business environment impacts on the component elements of organisations, and how organisations seek competitive advantage through strategy and decision-making.
3. Practical Data Analysis for Business: This module will enable learners to effectively utilise secondary data to inform organisational proposals and decisions. Learners will be equipped with the skills required to acquire, manage, analyse and apply qualitative and quantitative secondary data sets.

Mastering AI Tools
1. Explore the latest AI tools and technologies that enhance decision-making, process automation, and operational efficiency.
2. Learn how to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows to drive digital transformation and competitive advantage.
3. Develop practical skills in leveraging AI for data analysis, predictive modeling, and productivity enhancement.
Strategic Thinking
1. Gain expertise in analyzing complex business environments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
2. Develop frameworks for reconfiguring business models and strategies to stay ahead in dynamic markets.
3. Learn to align innovative solutions with long-term organizational goals to create sustainable value.
Strategic Leadership
1. Build resilience and adaptability to lead teams and organizations through periods of uncertainty and change.
2. Master communication and decision-making techniques to inspire trust and align stakeholders.

Entry Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Qualification OR
– 5 years in Managerial / Executive Capacity OR
– 3 years in Executive Capacity with a Recognised Diploma OR
– 5 years as a Commissioned Officer in SL Army / Navy / Air Force / Police OR
– CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting OR
– Any other Qualification deemed equivalent to the above.
Lecture Schedule: Physical Classes:
Every Saturday 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm
Once a month Sunday 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm
COMMENCEMENT: Saturday, 25th January
Mode of Delivery: On campus
Duration: 1 year
Course Registration Fee and E Library Fee: Rs. 30,000
Course Fee: Rs. 25,000 per month x 12 months = Rs. 300,000
University Registration Fee: GBP 750 – to be paid at the beginning of 6th month from course commencement (Direct Payment to the University by the Student)
Total Fees: Rs. 580,000 (approximately for the entire programme)
Social Security Contribution Levy (SSCL) of 2.5 % would be charged on all above fees except for direct payments made by students to the University

The MBA Coursework Stage and Research Stage is offered with a concession
The Competency Certifications are offered at zero cost to the student
The total Fellowship value is about Rs. 360,000/-
